For more than 30 years, CERATIZIT has been supplying the medical industry with both standard and customer-specific carbide and ceramic solutions for biocompatible medical and dental tools. The fulfilment of biocompatibility serves to protect patients during treatment and is part of the EU directives. For this reason, our carbide and cermet solutions are tested for in-vitro cytotoxicity, which facilitates the certification process in our customers’ tool manufacturing process. Additionally, thanks to their extreme hardness, toughness, breakage resistance, temperature, and corrosion resistance our products exhibit vastly superior performance attributes compared to standard steel products.
